Patronage
![]() |
The patron of this year's World Climate Teach-In Day 2010 is commissioner Conny Hedegard (European Commissioner for Climate Action, Denmark).
"Climate change is a challenge that no-one, no-where can escape. It is already happening and if not controlled its consequences could be desastrous. And yet if we act quickly, boldly and jointly we can do a lot about it. We owe this much to future generations. The World Climate teach-In day is one of the initiatives that contribute to engaging and mobilising in favour of climate action. I am very happy to be its patron this year". |
